Gas or oil fired water heaters in garagesmust be what so that the gasoline vapors are not ignited?

Lifted off the floor. But from a scientific point of view, this is nonsense; although gasoline vapor is heavier than air, in time it will mix uniformly with air, so it could be ignited from a spark at any point or height.
