Oil fired central heating ... how much does it cost to fill a tank up how long does it last for?

is it cheaper or more expensive ?Oil fired central heating ... how much does it cost to fill a tank up how long does it last for?
depending on the price of oil, as it changes from day to day,but a 500 litre tank costs us around 拢400,this is for roughly 6 months,we have oil central heating, 9 heaters 1 being double.the way they work here in wales is the more you order the cheaper you will get it for.

i tend to pay monthly, around 拢50,and then fill up when its half empty.so i only have about 拢30 to pay.

hope this is of help.Oil fired central heating ... how much does it cost to fill a tank up how long does it last for?
I have a 1000 litre tank, and it cost me around 拢440 to fill it last week, and I fill it around twice a year. My house is well insulated, athough I live in a pretty exposed area (Scotland).

You need to find out your size of tank, your local oil price, and take into consideration your size of house, how many radiators you have, how insulated your house is and does your hot water heat from you oil boiler.

It is a very efficent way to heat your house.
I ran out of oil just last weekend and had to fill up the tank. We have a 100 gallon tank, and it cost about $325 to fill up. I think it lasts for a year, at least at my house it does.
Depends on:-

How big the tank is?

the output of the pump filling it?

How you use it?

Cheaper or more expensive than what?
It depends how big the tank is really how much it cost to fillit - think the fuel is quite cheap - 50p a litre or so
