the furnace was working well when it was shut down a couple of years ago when it is burning the flame is to hi in the burner and smokes out the chimney bad.I have a oil fired hot water furnace that smokes when it is running changed nozzel and filter it did not help?
It's burning too lean. Adjust the air flow on the motor side of the pump. Needs more air.I have a oil fired hot water furnace that smokes when it is running changed nozzel and filter it did not help?
Are you bruning 2 year old fuel?
