The furnace can run from a little over $1,000 to $4,000 and up, depending on the amount of heat it has to produce (northern Minnesota needs more heat than northern Georgia), and the quality you want.

I sold a oi powered furnace in hte midwest this winter (about 70,000 btu and it was installed for $4100. the cost of fuel oil changes weekly/daily. check out your city,town, etc for prices.How much does an oiled fired furnace cost? How much does oil cost?
today i paid $3.70 a gallon for oil and that was with a 10 cents a gallon discount. my neighbor paid $3.80 a gallon from the same dealer but with no discount. 145 gallons


cost me $536.50 and that's for only 1/2 tank of oil.


if i could get natural gas (not bottle) i believe i would do that.


i only pay (only?) $2.93.9 for gas. go figure.
