Most vegetable oil labels have this warning of what to do it case of oil fire during cooking, but I am not sure if it is required. If anybody has any information, I would appreciate it.Does vegetable oil require a warning on the label in case of fire?
I think it is needed. This is why:
I was watching my mom make steak. There was hot oil in the pan and she put the raw steak on the pan. The oil never responds well and small droplets flew all over the stove. Other parts of the stove were turned on, so there was a nice fire on the stove, which did die down.
I think if first time cookers knew that, they would be more careful. My mom is an expert cook and we still got a small fire.Does vegetable oil require a warning on the label in case of fire?
Hahaha well they don't have that warning in Canada.
