What is the electric cost to run oil fired home furnace?

Well it depends on the Power rating of the appliance.

It will be measured in Watts (example = 2kW or 2000W )

You can find out how much you are paying per KWh - Kilo Watt / Hour.

Using the power rating you can times it by how many hours you need to run the appliance and the kWh rating (pence) whic will give you the cost of running the appliance for that amount of time.

Matty :DWhat is the electric cost to run oil fired home furnace?
It is going to depend upon the electrical rating of the burner, pump, programmer, etc and upon the time in use. You should be able to find the electrical details from the manufacturer if you don't have them on the maintenance manual. When you have worked it all out you will find that it is a lot,lot less than the cost of the oil.

So why not enjoy life instead?
